Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Class 1 Operators for a prominent logistics organization.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts.
Available shifts include days, nights, and tramping, with flexibility required.
Job Responsibilities:
General haulage tasks; experience with containers and dock cards is preferred.
Shift Details:
Typical shifts last approximately 11 hours from Monday to Friday.
Compensation:
Day shifts: £16.81 per hour
Night shifts: £17.93 per hour
Saturday shifts: £19.05 per hour
Sunday and Bank Holidays: £20.17 per hour
Night out allowance: £24 per night
What to Expect:
Weekly payment structure.
Guaranteed minimum payment for 8 hours of work.
Hourly pay rate.
Access to a 24-hour assistance team for night operations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year holding a full Class 1 HGV Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Card.
- Digital tachograph card required.
- Comprehensive understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.
- Demonstrated reliability and excellent punctuality.
- Flexibility regarding start times and working days.
