New Iron, Inc. is seeking a skilled Equipment Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our process control and maintenance software deployment team, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting our client's software on semiconductor manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical application support on sensor and software integration on semiconductor customers and fabs.
- Coordinate with various cross-functional teams to develop and optimize data acquisition.
- Work with fab management and engineering on systems planning, improvement, and mechanisms that optimize quality and performance.
- Conduct installation, training, and sensor maintenance on and off customer sites.
- Analyze data to detect process faults using advanced software tools.
- Identify process improvement opportunities through sensor technology and software solutions.
- Conduct product training and troubleshooting on-site.
- Demonstrate specialized knowledge in back-end semiconductor manufacturing processes, including chip packaging or assembly processes.
- Proficiency in English (professional level minimum).
- Excellent communication skills for building strong customer relationships.
- Strong adaptability to solve issues in the field with internal and external customers.
- Ability to be on-call support, work effectively in a global work environment, and travel 30-50%, depending on the project.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, CS or related field.
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing or process control systems like FDC, APC, factory automation, SPC, RR Control, Tool maintenance, industrial engineering.
