Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Axon Moore Group Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for producing timely and accurate management accounts, ensuring financial control, and providing board and management information.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce timely and accurate management accounts
- Ensure financial control, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare board and management information
- Apply operational controls and suggest improvements
- Analyze margins
- Manage pensions, payroll taxes, and deductions
- Submit VAT returns and ensure compliance
- Provide profit improvement insights through trend and cost analysis
- Prepare historical and forward-looking reports for management
- Support and develop junior team members
We are looking for an ambitious candidate who is newly qualified or has a few years of post-qualification experience. Whether you've qualified through CIMA in industry or are ACA-trained with an audit background and seeking your first move into industry, this role could be the perfect next step. Candidates with a manufacturing background will be particularly desirable, but if you come from a different sector and have the drive to succeed in a dynamic and growth-focused workplace, we encourage you to apply
