Job Title: Programme Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of large and complex projects/programmes across various technology themes and industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of projects/programmes, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, capturing and addressing their needs and expectations.
- Manage programme portfolios, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Liaise with resource owners and team leaders to ensure effective use of resources and delivery of project quality, cost, and delivery within project scope.
- Manage changes to project scope via the recognised 'Change Request' process.
- Act as champion for MTC's project management processes, tools, and techniques.
- Contribute to internal continuous improvement activities related to PM tools and processes.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with significant experience in a busy projects-based/professional services environment.
- Experience of Microsoft project management tools, including MS Project and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
- Numerate with a strong focus on financial management.
- Ability to identify resource requirements and negotiate availability with resource owners/team leaders.
- Working with classified information.
