About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at Fife Council. As a key member of our corporate Finance function, you will lead and manage a section of the Finance team, providing professional leadership and guidance to deliver high-quality, customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a section of the corporate Finance function, providing professional leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused service.
  • Strategic Influence: Lead a centre of expertise across the Council, using your insights to support and influence both strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Directorate Support: Provide professional guidance to a designated Directorate, advising on critical business planning assumptions, helping to navigate trade-offs, identifying opportunities, and acting as an account manager for end-to-end financial services.
  • Ambassador for the Finance Function: Drive the delivery of finance initiatives, gaining acceptance from key stakeholders, and building strong relationships.

Requirements
