Position Overview:
As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist at ESS Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our plant. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing electro-mechanical repairs on a PLC-controlled facility, including handling and conveying systems, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic control mechanisms.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of plant infrastructure and services, with a focus on compressed air systems.
  • Contributing to and executing Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Programs.
  • Collaborating with the operations team to meet performance objectives.
  • Engaging with equipment suppliers for new installations and modifications.
  • Demonstrating initiative and keen observation skills to identify faults and determine appropriate repair actions.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in all work areas, including transit routes to and from the workshop.
  • Actively participating in training and development opportunities to enhance cross-skilling and job-related competencies.
  • Documenting maintenance activities in the maintenance management system (CMMS), including records of changes, inventory transactions, and completed work.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possession of a trades qualification in Electrical with a solid understanding of Mechanical systems.
  • A multi-skilled or cross-skilled approach to maintenance tasks.
  • Experience in process awareness, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in a high-volume environment.
  • A strong team player who can also work independently.
  • Proficiency in computer skills is advantageous.

Note:
Availability for early and late shifts is required.
