About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class E driver to join our team at Apetito Limited. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering our frozen food products to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road worthiness
  • Comply with drivers' hours, tachographs, and road traffic regulations
  • Drive in a safe and economical manner
  • Act as an ambassador for the company
  • Perform minor vehicle service activities, such as cleaning and refuelling
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle
  • Deliver and collect vehicles as required, including inspections
  • Participate in daily debriefs to identify safety, service, and operational improvements
  • Supervise and assist with loading activities at cross-dock sites
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of full-time Class E driving experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A full Class E licence
  • Knowledge of drivers' hours regulations, the working time directive, and tachographs
  • Operational knowledge of modern commercial vehicles
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Driver CPC
Desirable Qualifications
  • Clean driving licence
  • Temperature control transport experience
  • Experience of multi-drop deliveries
  • Experience of operating tail lifts and double-deck trailers
  • Experience of working with wheeled delivery equipment

  • Physical ability to handle heavy goods and move loaded dollies
