In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the outdoor spaces for a Housing Association, ensuring that the grounds in the designated areas are kept in pristine condition. Your work will involve a variety of tasks, including:

  • Grass mowing
  • Strimming
  • Trimming hedges and shrubs
  • Leaf clearance
  • Litter collection
  • Conducting rounds of housing estates to ensure the upkeep of grounds

As part of your responsibilities, you will also:

  • Foster and uphold a strong health and safety culture within the organization, promoting awareness among all team members to achieve zero accidents and work-related health issues.
  • Identify and report any potential hazards or safety concerns to your supervisor during your workday.
  • Ensure that all landscaped and hard surfaces are maintained to the highest standards, adhering to agreed specifications and timelines.
  • Actively seek and utilize feedback from clients to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to any complaints or challenges raised by customers, ensuring that issues are resolved and lessons are learned.
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations in relation to your responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in gardening or landscape maintenance.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
  • Possession of a Full UK Driving License.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
