We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Investigo Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the financial reporting, forecasting, and P&L for our multi-site business with UK and overseas entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Manage all financial aspects of our central service entities to ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting.
  2. Process Improvement: Streamline entity recharge processes and reset/update allocations.
  3. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Build analytical review of monthly entity Actuals (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash-flow) working in a matrix environment.
  4. Statutory Compliance: Lead the annual preparation of 5-year budgets, coordinate, prepare, review, sign-off, and submission of statutory accounts, tax returns, and run the external audit.
  5. Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to the Internal Controls Framework, ensuring that all necessary controls and reconciliations are in place and effective.
  6. Team Collaboration: Ensure clear accountabilities and ways of working with the Financial Shared Service Centre.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Finance professional (ACA, ACCA)
  • Autonomous and able to assume end-to-end accountability for role scope
  • Expert knowledge of filing commitments (including tax)
  • Experience of consolidation work
  • Comfortable working at pace and able to take an agile approach
  • Results-oriented with a sense of urgency
  • Highly analytical
  • Strong prioritisation skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Effective team player who demonstrates passion for making a positive difference
  • Technical accounting acumen & experience
  • Min. 5 years PQE
