As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Supporting Students:**
    • Provide individualized support to students with SEND during lessons and school activities
    • Assist students with daily care requirements, such as personal hygiene and medication
  • **Collaborating with Staff:**
    • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with SEND
    • Support staff during lunch and break times to ensure a safe and inclusive environment
  • **Managing Behaviour:**
    • Use positive behaviour management techniques to support students with challenging behaviour
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce conflict and promote a positive learning environment

**Requirements:**

  • Experience working with students with SEND and challenging behaviour
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High levels of care and resilience
  • Driving license (essential due to rural location)
