MSR Cosmos is seeking a skilled and experienced DataStage Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions within the banking domain.

As a DataStage Developer, you will leverage your expertise in ETL processes, SQL programming languages, and database technologies to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using DataStage and Netezza technologies.
  • Write efficient and maintainable TSQL code for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Develop and maintain database schemas and structures in various relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2).
  • Lead a team of junior developers, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Adhere to software engineering principles and SDLC methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of data quality processes.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on DataStage, Netezza, and SSIS technologies.
  • Proficiency in TSQL programming languages and database design principles.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing ETL processes using DataStage and Netezza.
  • Experience working with various relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2).
  • Proven ability to lead a team of developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, SDLC methodologies, and QA metrics.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with ControlM, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with BI reporting tools and data visualization techniques.
