About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Asset Engineer to join our team at Sigma Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a key pipework inspection contract with external experts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contract Management: Oversee the management of a key pipework inspection contract with external experts, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  2. Planning Inspections: Arrange and manage inspections as required, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  3. Asset Management: Contribute to the development and implementation of asset management strategies, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of mechanical assets.
  4. Compliance: Ensure all inspection data is accurately organized and maintained to support quality and compliance systems.
  5. Reporting: Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on inspection findings and asset performance.
Requirements
  1. Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in pipework/asset integrity.
  2. Expertise: Proven expertise in pressure safety systems (PSSR) or ASME qualification, or asset integrity experience on a COMAH site.
  3. Contract Management: Experience in managing external inspection contracts, with a strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
  4. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £70,000, a relocation allowance of up to £24,000, and a comprehensive benefits package, including pension top-up, employer pension contribution, bonus, private medical cover, and more.

Working Hours

We offer flexible working hours, with a start time of 7:30 am-9 am and a finish time of 4:30 pm-6 pm, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively.
