Senior Risk Consultant

Turner & Townsend's Birmingham office is seeking a Senior Risk Consultant to join our successful Risk team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting the implementation of integrated risk management across major capital programmes or projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead risk commissions, including the management of teams.
  • Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget or retirement of threat/opportunity.
  • Monitor overall risk exposure and assess against the remaining risk budget and timeline.
  • Work with the supply chain to assess contractor responsibility risks and their views on client risks that could impact their ability to deliver.
  • Produce and present fit for purpose risk reports, in a timely manner, to support the effective communication of threat & opportunity status and required senior management action.
  • Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency and time risk allowance levels.
  • Present key risk findings to clients, including assurance of supply chain risk management performance.
  • Familiarity with web-based database/reporting tools - ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau, PowerBI.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Quantitative Schedule Risk Assessments and Quantitative Cost Risk Assessments (QRSA's and QRCA's).
  • Experience of senior management engagement on risk management.
  • Proven experience in a risk delivery role on major projects/programmes or blue chip companies.
  • IRM/APM risk certified candidates preferred, however not essential.
