Installation Planner Job Description

Howdens Joinery is seeking a skilled Installation Planner to join our team at our manufacturing site in Normanton, West Yorkshire. As a key member of our Planning and Customer Services team, you will be responsible for coordinating all field-based activities, ensuring seamless execution of installations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and manage the installation schedule, ensuring timely completion of projects and effective communication with customers and installation teams.
  2. Book and manage templates, installations, remakes, and remedials, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  3. Assist with allocating collection times for installation teams, ensuring smooth logistics and customer satisfaction.
  4. Manage the planning inbox, responding to customer queries in a timely and professional manner, and escalating issues as necessary.
Requirements:
  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including customers, installation teams, and internal colleagues.
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
