About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring Pupil Support Assistant to work with our Enhanced Support Base and in our Wellbeing Hub. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment where positive relationships can help young people achieve their potential, and they will understand the importance of developing social, emotional and communication skills as well as academic learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of social, emotional and communication skills in students
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive the support they need
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to support student wellbeing
Requirements
  • Commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for students
  • Understanding of the importance of developing social, emotional and communication skills in students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
