Outwards Reinsurance Placement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Outwards Reinsurance Placement team as a Junior Buyer. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of the end-to-end placement process and contribute to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality analytics to support purchasing decisions and manage risk.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and third parties to understand and clarify business needs.
- Develop alternative forms of risk transfer and support in structuring capital market transactions.
- Assist in producing reports and MI requirements for the Lead Outwards Reinsurance Lead.
- Provide a central point of contact for internal and external queries regarding the placement process.
- Participate in team projects and contribute to the development of the team.
- Experience in the Insurance sector, preferably in Underwriting, Catastrophe Modelling, or Broking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and third parties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and SQL, or an interest in coding SQL/R/Python.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail.
