Job Title: Senior Research Data Steward

Join University College London as a Senior Research Data Steward and contribute to the delivery of reliable and secure infrastructure and services to UCL research groups.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Research Data Steward to provide technically focused support and consultancy to researchers at UCL, helping them to improve their data management, aligning with university and funder policies and modern best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with researchers to design and implement effective data management strategies
  • Provide technical support and training on data management tools and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of research data services and policies
  • Work with the research community to identify and address data management challenges
Requirements
  • Experience of conducting or supporting data-intensive research in an academic research environment
  • Technical skills to document, process and transform data
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
  • Experience in Trusted Research, with a strong background in working with sensitive data
