About the Role:

We are seeking a patient and empathetic support worker to join our team at ENS Recruitment. As a support worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with a learning disability and health conditions to maintain a full and happy life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the individual to maintain their home environment to the best standard possible.
  • Batch cook healthy diabetic meals for freezing, ensuring the individual has access to fresh and healthy dinners.
  • Assist with daily living tasks and promote independence.
  • Accompany the individual on day trips and outings, utilizing a wheelchair for mobility.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of previous experience in the UK care sector, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, diabetes, heart problems, and arthritis.
  • Full UK driving license and business insurance to enable the individual to access the community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
