Job Summary:
We are looking for a Probate Legal Assistant to support our Probate Case Managers/ Fee Earners in managing probate applications and estate administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming new clients, managing diaries, producing documents, and maintaining accurate filing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Onboarding: Be the first point of contact for new clients, setting up new cases and providing service quotes.
- Administrative Support: Manage diaries, produce documents, and maintain accurate filing systems.
- Customer Engagement: Handle inbound calls, provide updates, and assist customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service.
- Case Management: Prepare correspondence, chase information, and handle legal forms.
Requirements:
- Strong IT Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Customer-Focused: Excellent customer service skills and emotional intelligence to support clients in sensitive situations.
- Organised: Strong organizational and diary management skills.
- Empathetic Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience: Legal background preferred but not essential; ability to build and maintain strong client relationships is crucial.
