We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at H&K Fire Engineering. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering fire protection projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project initiation and handover meetings with stakeholders, including sales, design, and quality assurance teams.
- Develop and maintain project programs, ensuring timely completion and adherence to customer and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.
- Manage project documentation, including quality plans, project plans, cost sheets, and trackers.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure installers are adequately briefed and competent to fulfill project requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory processes.
- Manage project costs, including material and labor expenses, and ensure accurate invoicing and final account management.
- Ensure a safe working environment, with zero reportable accidents, and promote best practices within the team.
- Working knowledge of BS EN 12845 and LPS1048 schemes.
- Experience in managing complex projects with budgets up to £200k.
- Practiced management of on-site labor and resources.
- Valid SMSTS and CSCS card holder.
- Knowledge of CDM management principles.
- Extensive knowledge of production of project documentation.
- Familiarity with standard MS office applications.
- Commercial acumen and ability to identify and maximize project cost savings.
- Professional communication skills and ability to represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
