About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our Macmillan Health Care Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients and their families at the end of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the District Nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements
  • NVQ or NQF equivalent Level 2 Training in health care and social care.
  • Experience of working in a health or social care setting for 6 months.
  • Holds a driving license.
