Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced educator who can significantly impact our learning community. This position involves teaching students aged 11 to 19 at our Secondary Site, focusing on Physical Education and Mathematics. We welcome applications from candidates with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), regardless of whether their background is in Primary or Secondary Education.

Your teaching approach should be innovative and tailored to meet the diverse educational needs of our students, ensuring that the curriculum is delivered effectively to enhance student achievement and development. Candidates should be prepared to manage challenging behaviors that may arise due to the unique needs of our pupils.

In this role, you will engage students in a dynamic and enjoyable manner. Collaboration with support staff is essential to provide each student with the necessary assistance and to maintain a productive classroom environment. You will also be responsible for communicating progress and feedback to senior leadership, parents, and guardians.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in teaching within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting or extensive experience working with students with complex additional needs.
  • Proven ability to design and implement engaging lesson plans.
  • Possession of UK QTS or QTLS.
