Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Project Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent Careers. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of Instrument and Electrical installations on all capital projects at our Edinburgh and Annan sites.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the site E+I SME on all CAPEX designs and installations, ensuring compliance with site engineering standards.
- Manage contract E+I discipline engineers, ensuring they adhere to business standards.
- Collaborate with the project EPC contractor to ensure their designs meet site standards and provide prompt support for technical queries.
- Ensure all CAPEX projects are suitably scoped with regards to E+I activities.
- Liaise with Maintenance & Compliance teams to align E+I proposals with site requirements.
- Oversee budget control and reporting for projects under your direction.
- Manage Functional Safety compliance on CAPEX projects, ensuring conformance to IEC 61508 / 61511 requirements.
- Assess new E&I equipment for safety, health, environmental, and quality impact, identifying appropriate PM tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Electrical and Instrumentation engineering, with experience in project management and technical leadership. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
