Senior Sales Engineer

Ebury's Mass Payments division is a thriving segment within one of the world's fastest-growing fintech companies. This team manages a portfolio of enterprise-level clients with intricate global payment and currency management needs, currently experiencing a dynamic phase of substantial growth, supported by group investments aimed at achieving ambitious future objectives.
As a senior figure in the technical sales team, you will oversee incoming leads from the broader organization, focusing on: qualifying prospects, designing solutions, and guiding clients through onboarding to implementation.
You should have a proven history of polished client-facing commercial abilities, especially at the c-suite or board level, and be capable of articulating payment and foreign exchange concepts to various stakeholders, including technical teams, senior management, and operations personnel. Experience in technical or project management, or solutions architecture within a technical environment is beneficial, as you will need to blend commercial discussions with a focus on technical implementation to meet client onboarding goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the existing Mass Payments sales team and the wider Ebury group to enhance Mass Payment growth through sales and technical support.
- Develop expertise in Ebury's payment platform and its technical capabilities, particularly at the operational level.
- Engage at all stages of the sales process, managing a pipeline of warm leads to completion, with a focus on technical sales.
- Manage your own portfolio of prospects as needed, qualifying and closing enterprise-level sales.
- Become an authority on Ebury's payment platform and offerings to deliver an exceptional sales experience for potential clients.
- Balance operational and commercial priorities to identify profitable prospects across various leads and client sources.
