Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Batley facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining a smooth flow of product through the warehouse, ensuring efficient operation across all shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in the warehouse
  • Manage material resources to ensure stock is moved to Batley and Wakefield and outside storage in a timely manner
  • Provide a competent service to the manufacturing function and provide effective management of stock levels
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with Production, Q.A, Finance, Engineering and Laboratory teams
Requirements
  • Team work and ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience of machine operation in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work with the minimum amount of supervision
  • Analytical skills and experience of SAP Systems/Excel
  • Flexible and self-motivated person with good communication skills
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance record
  • Awareness of health and safety and food safety/hygiene requirements is desirable
