About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions.

As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene at our sites across the TR, PL, TQ, and EX postcode areas.

Your duties will include:

  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene at all sites
  • Operating a variety of cleaning equipment and machinery
  • Ensuring all areas are safe and secure for customers and staff
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve goals

We require someone who is:

  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy equipment
  • Reliable and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations

In return, we offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.75 plus Sunday premium
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • A work vehicle and fuel expenses between sites
  • 20 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service
  • A Defined Contribution pension scheme
