Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a supportive role. This position involves working closely with teaching staff to provide one-to-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN and Autism in a one-to-one setting, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and adapting lesson activities to meet their individual needs.
  • Build strong relationships with students and teaching staff to ensure students achieve their full potential.
  • Provide emotional support and help students calm down and remain focused when needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEN, Autism, or Complex Needs is highly desirable.
  • Right to work in the UK (valid visa).
  • Recent child-based reference and relevant DBS/POLICE checks.

  • Free specialized training in areas such as Team Teach, Makaton, PMLD/SLD Awareness, and Autism Awareness.

Pay and Vetting:

Five Education operates a PAYE payroll, ensuring transparent payment with no hidden fees. Pay rate includes holiday pay.
