Job Title: Postal Delivery Driver

Pertemps Edinburgh is delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting multi-drop parcel delivery drivers. If you have excellent customer service skills and want to be a part of a dynamic and growing industry, this position is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered.
  • Be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next.
  • Deliver letters and parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg, and be required to carry a bag that can weigh up to 16kg.
  • Drive and deliver on foot, and be required to push/pull a trolley during deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
  • Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.

Please note that working outdoors in all weathers is required.
