Job Title: Associate Clinical Data Science Programmer

Join ICON plc, a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization, as an Associate Clinical Data Science Programmer. This role is based in our UK Swansea office.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Associate Clinical Data Science Programmer. In this role, you will be responsible for programming the clinical data management system (CDMS) and Non-CDMS components, including dynamic electronic case report form (eCRF) checks, edit checks, custom programs, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and comment on Edit Check Specifications (ECS) and make modifications to library edit checks when required.
  • Program dynamic eCRF functionality and edit checks according to defined specifications.
  • Develop custom programs and Data Validation Outputs (DVO) and review the developed outputs to ensure they meet the agreed specifications.
  • Review Data Transfer Specifications (DTS) and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the management of trial deliverables and project scope.
  • Actively participate in internal meetings and provide constructive feedback to peers, team leads, and managers.
Requirements
  • Solid knowledge of the requirements, capabilities, and limitations of at least one clinical data management system.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical environments and clinical data management systems.
  • Good written and oral communication and presentation skills.
