About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Chadwick Lodge in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions to support service users in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Provide specialist clinical advice and guidance to colleagues, ensuring that our service users receive the best possible care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of service user progress, ensuring that our data is reliable and trustworthy.
Requirements
  • Hold a recognized psychology degree and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in a forensic or clinical setting.
  • Be an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and relevant division.
  • Have a strong understanding of evidence-based psychological practice and be able to apply this knowledge in a forensic or clinical setting.
  • Be experienced in working with clients with cognitive deficits and have a proven track record of conducting research and project work.
