Senior Early Years Practitioner/Room Leader

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Early Years Practitioner/Room Leader to join our team at Broadwood Resources Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of our toddler room, supporting the delivery of our curriculum, and ensuring all children receive the best opportunities for learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the toddler room
  • Lead a small team of staff to support the delivery of our curriculum
  • Be an amazing role model to the children and to your team
  • Be a key person for a group of children
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and core values are adhered to
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Safeguarding regulations
  • Ensure all records are completed accurately to a high standard
  • Work in close partnership to develop and maintain strong relationships with parents/carers
Requirements:
  • Previous, recent experience in an Early Years setting
  • Enthusiastic with a passion to deliver high quality childcare
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted, and Safeguarding requirements
  • Paediatric first aid, DBS
  • A minimum level 3 childcare qualification is a requirement for this role
Location:

Formby L37 with good local transport links

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week across 4.5 days during the opening hours of 7.30am to 5.45pm
