Your work will be performed to a high standard, ensuring that both Client and Mitie expectations are met, while strictly adhering to Health and Safety regulations.

A valid UK Driving licence with a maximum of 6 points is required, as driving constitutes a significant portion of the responsibilities.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced technician capable of handling various electrical tasks, including installations of LED lighting, Electric Vehicle chargers, minor works, and testing and inspection as necessary. You will be involved in project work related to lighting and electrical systems across retail, industrial, commercial, and governmental sectors.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Executing LED lighting and electrical installations.
  • Collaborating closely with the Lighting Project team, subcontractors, and Project Manager to achieve project completion targets.
  • Willingness to work night shifts and travel as the majority of tasks will occur outside standard working hours.
  • Interpreting electrical schematics, installation plans, and circuit diagrams.
  • Delivering high-quality results on the first attempt, minimizing the need for rework.
  • Possessing a solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in accordance with the 18th Edition IEE regulations.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance or Electrical Installation.
  • Test and Inspection certification is preferred.
  • IPAF and PASMA certifications are advantageous.
  • Capability to work at heights up to 3 meters and lift weights up to 25 kg.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your workload.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence.
