Job Summary

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our team in a specialist residential college for autism in South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and interventions for students with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans and creative adaptations to therapeutic provision.
  • Collaborate with a Clinical MDT to deliver behaviour support and psychological therapy to residential and day students.
  • Provide ACT, CBT, narrative therapy, and CFT therapies as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Psychologist.
  • Previous experience working with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
  • Strong clinical, counselling, and educational skills.
