Job Title: German Speaking Operating Principal

We are currently seeking a highly skilled German speaking operating principal to join our client, a prominent European Family Office.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and influencing across all areas of the business, including strategic, operational, financial, people, and governance matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with management teams to ensure the growth and success of portfolio companies
  • Oversee strategic, operational, financial, people, and governance matters across the company
  • Support the executive management team in progressing, monitoring, and reporting on routine and ad-hoc initiatives
  • Collaborate with the portfolio company executive management team to drive business growth and achieve substantial capital gains for investors
  • Utilize strong business judgement to prepare and draw conclusions from data and commercial and financial analysis

Requirements

  • German language capability
  • Strong academic background and high degree of numeracy
  • Exceptional track record in a career in investment banking, private equity, or a similar field
  • Experience in a hands-on general management role in a smaller, entrepreneurial company
  • Ability to travel to Germany on a regular basis
