About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to support and coordinate energy performance programs from concept to close-out. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the full delivery, control, and health & safety of projects on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the project team to review, improve, and successfully achieve objectives.
  • Record, monitor, and advise the Head of Projects of any issues or program deviations.
  • Oversee large-scale programs of work, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and in accordance with energy-saving guarantees.
  • Coordinate teams of engineers, program administrators, and subcontractors throughout the works.
  • Conduct regular safety and quality audits on-site with engineers and subcontractors to ensure adherence to defined procedures.
  • Monitor the health & safety of allocated staff and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all legislation.
  • Manage CDM regulations, method statements, risk assessments, COSHH regulations, and toolbox talks on all projects.
  • Action reactive issues, liaising with suppliers and engineers to resolve arising situations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in running large and multiple concurrent projects within the energy services industry.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of CDM Regulations and health & safety on-site.
  • Ability to oversee the production of risk and method statements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience working with end-user clients is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.

Desirable:

  • Experience in running projects within the public sector.
  • Knowledge of the Welsh language is preferred.
