About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Instructor - Diving to join our team at the National Hyperbaric Centre in Aberdeen. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to customers on a variety of technical topics related to diving equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for dive technicians, including theory and hands-on training.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of training materials, such as presentations, handouts, and assessments.
  • Deliver JFD standard lesson plans and ensure quality and continual development of course materials.
  • Maintain stock of consumables and reorder as required.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with substantial experience as a dive technician working offshore, as well as strong knowledge of industry guidance and comprehensive knowledge and experience working on diving equipment.

  • Substantial experience as a dive technician working offshore.
  • Experience maintaining diving equipment to manufacturer's specifications and industry standards.
  • Strong knowledge of industry guidance such as IMCA, IOGP, etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience working on diving equipment such as helmets, regulators, diver reclaim systems, etc.
