Nurse Functional Assessor Role

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Nurse Functional Assessor, you'll work with individuals who have a range of physical and/or mental health conditions, using your clinical expertise to assess their needs and provide recommendations for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, holistic assessments with individuals to understand their health challenges and how they impact their daily life
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings to support decision-making by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Work in an office-style environment and at home, completing assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face
Requirements

We're looking for a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year's post-registration experience and UK experience. You'll need to be proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work autonomously and have strong IT competency.
