Job Summary
This is an 18-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave in a leading supplier organisation. The role is an opportunity to work in a small team within the Production department, contributing to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management: Utilize Excel to ensure balanced stock levels, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Purchase Order Management: Place orders with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.
- Component Sourcing: Identify and source components to meet production demands, collaborating with the production team.
- Inventory Control: Receive and inspect incoming goods, reporting any inconsistencies to suppliers.
- Bills of Materials: Maintain accurate records of bills of materials on Excel, communicating changes to the purchasing department.
- Quality Assurance: Work with the production, conformity, and quality teams to ensure work instructions are up-to-date and accurate.
- Maintenance Coordination: Liaise with external maintenance providers to ensure faults are corrected and recorded.
- Product Preparation: Conduct visual inspections of products and prepare them for despatch.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required by the needs of the business.
Requirements
- Administrative Experience: Previous experience in a similar administrative role, with a strong understanding of Excel.
- Collaborative Mindset: A can-do attitude, willingness to help others, and a collaborative outlook.
