Job Summary

This is an 18-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave in a leading supplier organisation. The role is an opportunity to work in a small team within the Production department, contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Management: Utilize Excel to ensure balanced stock levels, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Purchase Order Management: Place orders with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.
  • Component Sourcing: Identify and source components to meet production demands, collaborating with the production team.
  • Inventory Control: Receive and inspect incoming goods, reporting any inconsistencies to suppliers.
  • Bills of Materials: Maintain accurate records of bills of materials on Excel, communicating changes to the purchasing department.
  • Quality Assurance: Work with the production, conformity, and quality teams to ensure work instructions are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Liaise with external maintenance providers to ensure faults are corrected and recorded.
  • Product Preparation: Conduct visual inspections of products and prepare them for despatch.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required by the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Administrative Experience: Previous experience in a similar administrative role, with a strong understanding of Excel.
