We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Nomad Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the healthcare team, assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
- Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary facility teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
- Provide individualized, non-judgmental, non-discriminatory care to all patients, families, and staff
Requirements:
- Active National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting- or National Center for Competency Testing-issued certification or active first assistant certification from NBSTSA, NCCSA or ABSA
- At least one year of experience as a Cardiovascular OR surgical tech or first assistant
- At least one year of experience within your specialty/modality within the past three years
- Graduated from an accredited school within your discipline
- Score 80% or higher on all Nomad Health competency exams
