We are seeking a part-time Research Assistant to join the Computing Infrastructure research group at the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. The post is funded by Aria and is fixed-term for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the GLASS project, supporting the development of a high throughput networked system.
- Develop a dedicated evaluation framework and manage the project's cluster.
- Develop methodologies and software for tight hardware/software integration for high throughput computing.
- MSc/MEng in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Established knowledge in computer networks and high throughput computing.
- Significant coding experience in C++ and Python.
- Experience developing system monitoring frameworks and working in a Linux environment.
