Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Alchemy Global Talent Solutions in Hull. This role will involve supporting all import and export tasks while maintaining client relationships, handling queries, and resolving complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers, managing and responding to all inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Foster positive relationships with clients to support new business growth and development.
- Follow up on customer satisfaction according to established guidelines to ensure high levels of customer service.
- Promote our services during client interactions and seize opportunities to offer them when appropriate.
- Represent the company as a mentor and role model, consistently setting a positive example.
- Provide daily coordination of logistics activities, both operational and administrative, for DSCS customers.
- Plan and monitor service delivery to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate regularly with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain and update records of customer feedback to inform business decisions.
- Update financial records upon receipt of funds, ensuring accurate alignment between cash-in and spreadsheets.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, systems, and databases to accurately track information for import and export shipments.
- Offer flexible support across various business functions as needed.
Requirements:
- Confident user of MS Office such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to speak confidently on the phone and work well with others.
- Prior experience working within Freight Forwarding would be desirable but not essential.
- Desire to learn and build a career within a busy environment.
