We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Specialist focused on enhancing the health and wellbeing of children and adolescents in care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting essential health evaluations for children and young individuals in care.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational responsibilities towards children and young people in care.
- Collaborating with social services, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Providing expert guidance to children and young people, empowering them to make informed health decisions.
- Facilitating access to essential health services, including general practitioners and dental care.
- Working alongside social care teams to implement health assessment recommendations.
- Offering mentorship and support to team members within the organization.
- Identifying training needs and delivering educational sessions for foster caregivers and multidisciplinary staff.
- Advising various stakeholders on the health requirements of children and young people in care.
