Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Ten Staffing Ltd. This role is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility.

Compensation:
  • Salary range: £33,000 – £35,000 based on experience
  • Standard working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance of all electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical installations for new machinery and services.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support daily operations through electrical and mechanical tasks.
  • Monitor the condition of machinery and services, reporting any defects promptly.
  • Perform portable and fixed appliance testing, maintaining accurate records.
  • Execute planned maintenance in accordance with manufacturer instructions and current regulations.
  • Address specific maintenance requests as detailed in project forms.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in equipment.
  • Assist in training apprentices and support departmental training needs.
  • Supervise contractors as required.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified and time-served electrician.
  • Current 17th edition IEE regulation certification.
  • Experience with PLC systems.
  • Mechanical experience is advantageous.
