We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Community Gateway Service as a Community Clerical Officer. This role is a key part of our team, providing essential support to our community.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Initial Contact: As the first point of contact for service users, you will be responsible for handling initial inquiries regarding health and social care matters.
  2. Service Coordination: You will work closely with our teams to ensure seamless coordination of services, providing support and guidance to service users as needed.
  3. Communication: Effective communication is crucial in this role, as you will be the primary point of contact for service users, providing clear and concise information about our services.
  4. Team Collaboration: You will work collaboratively with our teams to ensure that service users receive the best possible support and care.

Key Skills and Qualities:

  1. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  2. Organizational Skills: You will need to be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet the demands of this role.
  3. Empathy and Understanding: A high level of empathy and understanding is required to provide support and guidance to service users who may be experiencing challenging situations.
  4. Flexibility: You will need to be flexible and able to work a shift pattern, including occasional Saturdays.
