Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Join our team as an Area Sales Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong business development and sales skills. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating demand and winning new business with contractors and installers in the South Central region.

The Role:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be covering the area of Hampshire, Dorset, and Wiltshire. Your primary focus will be on targeting plumbing contractors and selling a range of underfloor heating systems, pumps, valves, temperature control, and push-fit piping products via our merchant and wholesale channel partners. You will build local relationships with contractors and ensure that our channel partners are well-serviced and supported.

40% of your time will be spent on account management, working closely with our merchant partners, while 60% will be dedicated to generating demand with end-user contractors. This will involve hosting trade mornings in branches, skip-chasing projects on the ground, and training branch staff on our product lines.

Requirements:
  • Clear business development and demand generation evidence on your CV
  • Hunger, drive, and desire to win new business with contractors and installers
  • Exposure to the construction market would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Sold to or worked for merchants or wholesalers in the past would be advantageous
  • Activity and target-driven
  • Full and clean driving license
What We Offer:
