Role Overview:
We are in search of a proficient Storage Tank Assessment Specialist with in-depth knowledge of API 653 and EEMUA 159 standards to join our esteemed Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Division. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations of storage tanks utilizing non-destructive and non-intrusive testing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections to evaluate the condition, integrity, and lifespan of storage tanks, pipelines, and related structures in accordance with API 653 and EEMUA 159 standards.
  • Create detailed reports that outline findings and provide recommendations for repairs, replacements, or other necessary actions.
  • Ensure that all testing equipment is operational, maintained, and adheres to safety regulations and manufacturer specifications; coordinate repairs and servicing as required.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to enhance efficiency and fulfill client expectations.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and sales agreements to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring consistent communication and engagement to address their needs.
  • Provide insights on new products, services, and market trends to relevant teams within the company.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to initiate and uphold contract services.
  • Stay informed about ISO/IEC 17020 standards and their application in inspection processes.

Candidate Profile:
  • Extensive expertise in NDT disciplines and standards, particularly EEMUA 159 and API 653.
  • Strong engineering background with a comprehensive understanding of tank design, construction methodologies, and applicable safety regulations for hazardous materials.
  • Familiarity with RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) documentation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong commercial awareness, comfortable engaging with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, especially for generating inspection reports and performing tank life calculations under EEMUA 159 and API 653 guidelines.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth to enhance the capabilities and services of the division.
  • Possession of a full and clean driving license.
  • Willingness to stay away from home during the workweek.
