About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our team as a Clinical Trainer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training and education to Healthcare Support Workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering training programs for Healthcare Support Workers
  • Coordinating and facilitating education sessions with senior staff and external course tutors
  • Assessing learner needs and developing tailored training plans
  • Providing instruction and guidance to learners on clinical procedures and patient care
  • Maintaining accurate records of learner progress and development


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in the NHS as a Healthcare Support Worker, Nursing Assistant, or Therapy Assistant
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • NVQ Level 3, plus additional knowledge of clinical procedures and patient conditions acquired through theoretical courses and HCSW experience to Diploma Level equivalency
