Gas Service Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Gas Service Engineer to join our team at R9 Recruitment Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Service and Repair on domestic boilers, with a strong focus on first fix rates and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service and repair work on a variety of domestic boilers, with a focus on achieving high first fix rates. They will also be required to work independently, using their own van and equipment, and to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of gas safety regulations and will be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They will also be required to maintain accurate records and to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

We are looking for a candidate who is able to work a minimum of 3 days per week, with set days required. The successful candidate will also be required to be accessible to patch or on patch, with no excessive travel required.

The successful candidate will receive full training on the tablet used to carry out work and will be paid on a weekly basis. We are looking for a candidate who is able to start as soon as possible and who is committed to delivering high-quality work.

Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Service and Repair on domestic boilers
  • Strong focus on first fix rates
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Strong understanding of gas safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively
  • Own van and equipment
