Academic Associates in Computing and Mathematics

Hourly Paid Academic Associates (Teaching Roles)
We are looking for academic professionals across various disciplines to join our team on an hourly paid basis. These positions are available on a short-term, flexible basis, providing essential support to our students through a variety of roles.
Applicants should possess experience in delivering and supporting Computing higher education initiatives at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in both subject-specific and interdisciplinary contexts, or have substantial relevant industry expertise. A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential.
Hourly Paid Academic Associates (Teaching Roles) encompass several positions at the University, including:
- Demonstrators (£14.11/hour)
- Tutors (£18.61/hour)
As an Hourly Paid Academic Associate, you are expected to possess:
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- The capacity to organize and prioritize tasks to achieve objectives.
- The initiative to address a wide range of challenges and appropriately question decisions.
- A degree or equivalent experience in your field, along with an understanding of the evolving landscape of higher education.
