HR Advisor - Part time
FTE of circa £40k
Location: Mid Kent
Office based
(Must drive due to location)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious HR Advisor to join a great employer in Mid Kent. This part-time position offers 25 hours per week and can be flexible for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational HR support and leadership to the business.
- Offer proactive support, coaching, and mentoring to managers, providing advice on policies and procedures.
- Manage individual cases, including complex employee relations issues.
- Oversee the recruitment process, from job adverts to onboarding new starters.
- Monitor and develop employee records, including maternity and paternity requests, sickness, and absence.
- Develop and monitor performance, leave, and internal appraisal systems.
- Execute, develop, and maintain starter and leaver procedures.
- Manage HR personnel files to ensure they are up to date.
- Stay up to date with UK employment legislation.
- Support other company projects as required.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will have a CIPD Level 3 qualification.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment within manufacturing or warehouse.
- Confident in using MS Office applications.
- Able to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
- Ability to work constructively as part of a team and independently.
- Positive attitude to feedback from senior management.
- Trustworthy and honest with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A team player who is willing to get involved.
