HR Advisor - Part time

FTE of circa £40k

Location: Mid Kent

Office based

(Must drive due to location)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious HR Advisor to join a great employer in Mid Kent. This part-time position offers 25 hours per week and can be flexible for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational HR support and leadership to the business.
  • Offer proactive support, coaching, and mentoring to managers, providing advice on policies and procedures.
  • Manage individual cases, including complex employee relations issues.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, from job adverts to onboarding new starters.
  • Monitor and develop employee records, including maternity and paternity requests, sickness, and absence.
  • Develop and monitor performance, leave, and internal appraisal systems.
  • Execute, develop, and maintain starter and leaver procedures.
  • Manage HR personnel files to ensure they are up to date.
  • Stay up to date with UK employment legislation.
  • Support other company projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have a CIPD Level 3 qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment within manufacturing or warehouse.
  • Confident in using MS Office applications.
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team and independently.
  • Positive attitude to feedback from senior management.
  • Trustworthy and honest with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A team player who is willing to get involved.
